Bhutan commemorates May 2nd, the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Third Druk Gyalpo by His Majest the 5th King

On this day, we join the people of Bhutan in offering prayers in memory of His Late Majesty, and wishing all our teachers.

Bhutan commemorates May 2nd, the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Third Druk Gyalpo, as teacher’s day, as tribute to a great King who was the father of modern Bhutan, and in recognition of the important role that teachers play in our society.

On this day, we join the people of Bhutan in offering prayers in memory of His Late Majesty, and wishing all our teachers.
